Over many years PTG Precision Engineers Ltd has been at the forefront of workholding technology in association with sister company PTG Workholding Ltd who are based in Bristol. ( www.ptgworkholding.co.uk )

Since the inception of the company PTG Precision Engineers Ltd has designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned a multitude of workholding solutions ranging across the entire engineering industry.

These solutions range from simple welding fixtures , drill jigs , simplistic fixtures , through to highly complex multi stage fixtures incorporating hydraulics or pneumatic operation. This expertise in workholding solutions incorporates a vast array of expanding sleeve and mandrel experience to solve highly complex workholding requirements.

The company has the facility to design workholding solutions using the latest three dimensional Solid Works software , which allows for complicated designs to be viewed from several different perspectives prior to approval of the design.

Recent projects completed by PTG Precision Engineers Ltd include fixtures for Rolls Royce Aero Engines for engine component manufacture which will be used on the Anglo - American joint strike fighter ( JSF ).

A range of over thirty fixtures were designed for Goodridge Fluid Transfer Systems that were used for manufacture of brake and hydraulic components used in the latest MP13 Mclaren high performance road car.
